Boyd Hobbs, is an award-winning Director of Photography, working out of Atlanta and Los Angeles. As of this fall, he is Cinematography Fellow at the American Film Institute Conservatory in Hollywood. He graduated with honors from Full Sail University in 2010, having already worked on multiple independent and commercial productions. Two of his 35mm short films, Loves Me Not and Rust, are currently on the festival circuit. Boyd won the 2010 ASC Undergraduate Student Heritage Award for outstanding cinematography for his work on Loves Me Not. He is experienced with digital and film capture, and is an owner-operator of a 5D Mark II with production-proven lenses, monitors, and RedRock bundle.
